Kate painted the most stunning portrait of our sweet little cat, Mouse, and we couldn’t be more in love with it. Every brushstroke is filled with so much care, love, and skill - it’s truly a gorgeous work of art. I can’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate our fluffy little woman. I asked Kate about painting a portrait of a soft toy. Kate gave her wonderful laugh and said she had never painted a cuddly toy before and became excited by the project! I sent many photos and Kate had the inspirational idea of painting 'Bert in the Mirror'.
When I saw the finished painting, I was overwhelmed by the care in the detail but more important was that Kate had captured the 'character' of Bert. The portrait was a birthday present for my wife and it was a great success!
Bert has a very special place in our family for nearly 30 years and opening this super portrait was both great fun but also emotional. Thank you Kate.
I asked Kate to commission a painting of my beautiful elderly dog Zara, an Irish Red Setter. I received it today and am lost for words - I nearly cried! She has captured Zara’s features so perfectly and the colouring is spot on. I will spend hours looking into her eyes and I already know that this painting will be treasured in our family for years and years to come. It’s a truly magnificent painting or a truly magnificent dog.

I had never considered before just how much more a painting brings to life the subject than a photograph does. Kate managed to capture our beloved Ruby’s loving nature and brought a depth to this picture I had not imagined. Her work is worth every penny for a life long treasured memory.
Kate is a skilled painter and I would highly recommend her for both commissions and anything from her catalogue. Her style is simultaneously clear and delicate and her use of colour is meticulous. She is an artist who truly knows how to capture the beauty of our natural world.
